Il vino è territorio/Wine is the territory

Inos Puntalizzu originates from the determination of Fabio Coronas, a winemaker from Siniscola, who many years ago decided to dedicate himself to the production of quality wines that would respect the characteristics and aromas of the Siniscolan territory. Inherited a vineyard of Cannonau (Cannonàtu in Siniscolan Sardinian dialect) and Pascale from Cagliari, the decision was made to uproot and replace it with new plants of Cannonau and Carignano. At the same time, we set up the trellising for the rows and the training system with Guyot pruning. The planting distance is 1 meter between plants and 2 meters between terraced rows, arranged in a very convenient position for manual harvesting.

Cannonau

Siniscola, a land with a calling

Inos Puntalizzu is born in a territory always destined for the cultivation of wine grapes. Thus, from the very beginning, the philosophy has been the (re)discovery of those traditional grape varieties that once covered a significant area of the Siniscolan countryside, which have been lost over time with the advent of numerous international grape varieties.
The cornerstone of our philosophy is the cultivation and rediscovery of Sardinian native grape varieties, as well as the reintroduction of blends from the past and wines and vines that have nearly disappeared from the Siniscola territory, such as the Vernaccia (sa gruannàtza), and others that we will thoroughly research and study.

Vigne di santelene
Vigna Sa Sedda

La vigna/The vineyard
The first piece of the puzzle to obtain excellent wine in the cellar is to follow good vineyard cultivation and care practices, from the initial planting and throughout the years with pruning, training system, and hoeing.
Our vineyards are young, but already endowed with good coloring substance and excellent alcohol content. Our Sa Sedda vineyard constitutes the original nucleus, planted with Cannonau and Carignano.
In the new Su Fruncu 'e su 'Inari vineyard, we have added Pascale di Cagliari to Cannonau to recreate the ancient Siniscolan blend. At the same time, we have planted two other native grape varieties, this time white berried: Vermentino and Vernaccia sarda.
Guyot pruning is specific to Cannonau, while for Carignano, a typical vine of southern Sardinia and Sulcis, bush training is usual, but to maintain a consistent cultivation approach, we have also opted for Guyot here.
Harvesting is done manually around mid-September, although due to climate change, it is sometimes particularly early, even in mid to late August.
The vineyard is east-facing, with an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level, mostly terraced. Plowing always takes place in the row uphill, leaving the row downhill fallow with only grass to mow, to prevent erosion from increasing.

Caramare

Caramàre

Caramàre is a Vermentino with a fresh taste and good acidity, with hints of fruit and flowers from the Mediterranean scrub, perfect as an aperitif or to accompany fish dishes.
Blend: 100% Vermentino
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol
Pairing: soft cheeses, dry ricotta, fregula with seafood, fish soup, stewed red mullet or fried calamari, and many other fish and shellfish from our Sardinian sea.

Amistate

Amistàte

Amistàte is a pure Cannonau from our Sa Sedda vineyard in Siniscola. With a beautiful deep ruby red color, it completely defies the tendency to consider a 100% Cannonau lacking in coloring substance. It presents aromas of wine and fresh red fruit.
Blend: 100% Cannonau
Alcohol content: 14% vol
Pairing: semi-aged sheep cheeses, vratàtu bread or handmade pasta with fresh tomato sauce, lamb with wild fennel, and other dishes from the Siniscolan tradition with a delicately wild flavor.

Lizu

Lìzu

Lizu is a wine of great structure, with a brilliant ruby red color and significant, evolving tannins.
Blend: 80% Cannonau, 20% Carignano
Alcohol content: 14.5% vol
Pairing: well-aged sheep cheeses, Supa Siniscolesa (traditional Sardinian dish), roasted suckling piglet, and other strong and substantial dishes from the Siniscolan tradition.
